This policy applies only to this website. It does not apply to any third-party website, platform, or social media service, even where we link to it.
Information we collect
Information you give us
You can browse this entire website without telling us who you are. We only receive personal information from you if you choose to send it — for example, by submitting a form, emailing us, or calling us. That information typically includes:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your telephone number
- Anything else you choose to include in a message to us
Please do not send sensitive information through this website. Do not include your Social Security number, account numbers, dates of birth, or account credentials in a web form or an unencrypted email. If we need that information, we will collect it through a secure channel after you become a client.
Information collected automatically
Like virtually every website, this site and the servers that host it automatically record certain technical information when you visit. This includes your IP address, browser type and version, device and operating system, the pages you view, the time and date of your visit, and the referring page. We use this to keep the site running, secure, and working correctly.
Cookies and similar technologies
A cookie is a small text file stored by your browser. We do not use cookies for advertising, and we do not use advertising pixels, retargeting tags, or visitor-identification services that attempt to de-anonymize you.
The cookies currently set when you visit this site are:
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
_tccl_visitor | GoDaddy (our web host) | Assigns a persistent identifier to a browser so repeat visits can be counted. |
_tccl_visit | GoDaddy (our web host) | Identifies a single browsing visit. |
_scc_session | GoDaddy (our web host) | Records session activity such as the number of pages viewed. |
These cookies are placed by our hosting provider's standard performance-monitoring script, not by Voska Wealth. We do not use the data they generate to build a profile of you, and we do not receive it in a form that identifies you.
Pages containing a video also load an embedded Vimeo player. We configure it with Vimeo's Do Not Track setting enabled so that it does not set tracking cookies of its own.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. This website will continue to work normally if you do.
Third parties that may receive or collect information
We share information only with service providers that help us operate the website and respond to you, and only to the extent they need it. We do not sell your personal information, we do not rent or trade it, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing purposes.
- Form processing
- Submissions from our website forms are transmitted through a third-party form-handling service, which delivers them to us by email. That provider receives the information you put in the form.
- Web hosting
- Our host stores the website files, maintains server logs containing IP addresses, and runs the performance-monitoring script described above.
- Web fonts
- Typefaces on this site are served by Google Fonts. Your browser requests those font files directly from Google, which means Google receives your IP address and basic request information. Google Fonts does not set cookies.
- Video hosting
- Videos on this site are hosted by Vimeo and shown in an embedded player. Your browser loads that player directly from Vimeo, which means Vimeo receives your IP address and basic request information. We embed it with Vimeo's Do Not Track setting switched on, which Vimeo states prevents it from setting tracking cookies or recording viewing analytics. The player loads whether or not you press play.
- Professional and legal
- We may disclose information to our own attorneys, accountants, auditors, or compliance consultants, and to regulators, courts, or law enforcement where we are required or permitted by law to do so — including in connection with an examination by our state securities regulator.
- Business transfer
- If the firm is ever sold, merged, or transferred, information may pass to the successor as part of that transaction.
Apart from the host's performance cookies described above, we are not aware of any third party collecting personally identifiable information about your online activities over time and across different websites through this site.
How we use information
- To respond to your inquiry and schedule a conversation
- To provide and improve the advisory services you ask us about
- To operate, secure, maintain, and improve this website
- To comply with the federal and California laws, regulations, and recordkeeping rules that govern investment advisers
We do not use the information you submit through this website to send unrelated marketing, and we will not add you to a mailing list you did not ask to join.
Do Not Track
Some browsers can send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. There is still no common industry standard for how a website should interpret one.
This website does not respond to DNT signals — because the activity DNT is designed to limit does not happen here. We do not follow visitors across third-party websites, we do not serve targeted advertising, and we do not permit advertising networks to collect personally identifiable information about your activity across other sites through this site. If that ever changes, we will update this section and the effective date above before the change takes effect.
Reviewing, correcting, or deleting your information
You may ask us at any time what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us by any of the methods below and we will respond within a reasonable time, at no charge.
We will honor deletion requests except where we are required to retain records under the recordkeeping rules that apply to investment advisers, or where we need the information to resolve a dispute or enforce an agreement. If we cannot delete something, we will tell you why.
California residents
This policy is written to comply with the California Online Privacy Protection Act (California Business and Professions Code sections 22575 through 22579).
The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, applies to businesses that meet certain revenue or data-volume thresholds. Voska Wealth does not currently meet any of them, so the CCPA does not presently apply to us. Separately, the CCPA exempts personal information collected and disclosed under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, which covers most information we hold about clients. Regardless of whether the CCPA applies, we will respond to the access, correction, and deletion requests described above, and we do not sell personal information.
How long we keep information
Records relating to our advisory business are retained for the periods required by the federal and California recordkeeping rules that apply to investment advisers — generally at least five years. This includes copies of the brochure we deliver to you and records of our advisory communications.
Inquiries from people who do not become clients are not kept on a fixed schedule. We retain them only for as long as they remain reasonably useful for responding to and following up on your inquiry, and we delete them once they no longer are.
You can ask us to delete your inquiry at any time and we will do so, unless we are required to keep it under the recordkeeping rules described above. See Reviewing, correcting, or deleting your information.
How we protect information
This website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards designed to protect the information we hold, and we limit access to those who need it to do their work. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security — which is why we ask you not to send sensitive information through this site.
Children
This website is intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other websites
This site links to other websites, including our YouTube channel and our regulatory filings on the Investment Adviser Public Disclosure system. We do not control those sites, and this policy does not apply to them. Review their own privacy policies before providing information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised policy on this page and change the effective date at the top. If a change is material, we will also note it prominently on this page for at least 30 days after it is posted. Continuing to use the website after a change takes effect means you accept the revised policy.
